There are times in life when “it’s not going too well” but we don’t really know why. We can have “everything to be happy” and yet feel a lack, a dissatisfaction. There are also times in life when “we’re fed up”. We feel boredom, a lack of motivation, we “drop out” at work, in your relationship or with those close to you.
The Four of Cups advises you to dive inside yourself to calmly assess your situation. You have to put your emotions into words. You need to identify what is missing or what would make you regain your “drive”, which would make you tick. To come out of boredom and apathy, it is your Authentic Being that you must awaken to benefit from all the gifts that life has to offer … if you are ready to accept them.
The Four of Cups sometimes indicates bitterness and even anger. It is the energy of the child who sulks, who is bored and who persists in refusing everything that is offered to him. In this Energy, you find it difficult to accept the Cups that the Universe offers you. To accept a Cup is to take an emotional risk, it is to open your Heart and let go. If you’ve been disappointed or hurt in the past, no doubt you don’t want to do it again. Ask yourself if your refusal is motivated by fear or if your refusal reflects a genuine lack of interest on your part.
Finally, if an opportunity presents itself, the Four of Cups invites you to think about all the ins and outs. If you are missing information, if you are not yet quite emotionally and psychologically comfortable with this choice, no rush. Give yourself time to reflect. Give yourself the opportunity to feel if your Heart really wants it.
In a Money or Abundance Draw, the Four of Cups may be ambiguous. You may miss a great opportunity out of stubbornness or because you just don’t see the point just yet. If you have identified a financial opportunity – new job, investment, creation of your business… – the Four of Cups invites you to take it slow, to think carefully. Is this opportunity getting you closer to your financial goal? Is it “too good to be true”? You may lack the information at this point to make an informed decision.
If you are looking for Love, the Four of Cups indicates that you may have “skipped” someone who is there, very close to you! It is also possible that you have dismissed or even dismissed a number of suitors. The Four of Cups advises you to look within yourself and once again appreciate your criteria of choice in Love. What, for you, is the “ideal” person, the one with whom you want to share and truly be yourself? What personality traits or commonalities are you looking for? This focus is needed so that you can open your eyes to *the* right person.
If you are in a relationship and especially if you are having difficulties, the Four of Cups invites you to think on your own about your relationship but be careful not to cut yourself off from your partner. You need to take stock of what you want from the relationship so that you can express it clearly to your partner.
It’s time to prioritize your health spending some time doing something you like. If you feel a bit down lately this card is here to show you the way into gratitude, work on a gratitude journal and see what happens. Your body can feel bad because of the bad thoughts running throughout your mind.
