The Empress is Arcana number III and is generally represented seated on a throne (in fact she is an empress), with the crown and holding a scepter with one hand and a shield with the other hand.
All of its representation, whether in classic decks or more creative decks, denotes power. In particular, on an archetypal level, it represents the power of the Divine Feminine and its divinatory meanings, in fact, are precisely connected to the feminine. The Feminine to which this card refers should not be confused with the appearance of the Feminine worn by the High Priestess, as with the Empress one descends on the material level as she represents creative power, while the High Priestess represents a more ideal and contemplative feminine.
The Empress on the obverse, depending on the question that has been asked, can indicate the feminine itself, for example the consultant, if it is a woman. When the Arcanum refers to the consultant, it can indicate a woman who is self-confident, who knows how to exercise her personal power, who is successful both in her private life and in her working life. If it does not refer to the consultant, it is generally a positive card, which indicates success in every field, creativity, fertility.
Obviously it should be read as a whole, analyzing the cards that are part of the scheme well. When the Empress comes out, if you are a woman, focus on how to do to be able to manifest your power and bring your ideas and creativity to the material level. The consciousness of your power may open new horizons for you that you currently cannot see, because you think you are not enough to deserve everything. If you are a man you may meet your soul mate, but to do so, first heal the feminine pole in you and integrate it, perhaps by solving and healing blocks that have been caused to you by the feminine figures you have met.
This card can indicate tremendous success in business, a great ability to run your own business and derive prestige and money from it. It can also indicate a particularly rich and powerful woman. In questions concerning the job, the empress certainly indicates successes in the work field, the ability of the consultant to do excellent business, precisely because she is comfortable with her personal power and with the job position she occupies and can also indicate creative drives that can benefit their work. The jobs associated with this card are those that ensure that the consultant can express herself and her creativity or jobs that have to do with beauty and self-care, such as the entrepreneur, the business woman, the event organizer, interior designer, painter, hairdresser or beautician.
The Empress, in addition to indicating success in love, can indicate that the consultant knows what she wants in love and what she deserves, therefore she lives a relationship in perfect balance (especially if followed by the Emperor), it could also indicate a wife who has a role dominant over her husband.
The Empress is associated with the female genital organs. It could positively indicate a physical pregnancy. Negatively it could indicate genital problems and infections or infertility.
