The Emperor is the Major Arcana number IV.
He is usually represented as a mature man, who in his classical representations has a white beard and mustache. He too is seated on a throne, just like the Empress, and he too holds a scepter with one hand and is resting on a shield, which offers him stability, always indicating that power over matter, this time in the male.
The Emperor on the obverse can refer to the querent himself, if he is a man, and precisely represents the fact that he is an authoritarian but just man, with a strong sense of duty and very proud. It generally indicates a man who occupies an authoritarian position in society, who does not tolerate mediocrity precisely because he expects his own seriousness from others.
If the consultant is a woman it can indicate a man with serious intentions, who wants to engage in a story. If it does not refer to the consultants it indicates the need to behave in an authoritarian manner, aim high in life, work seriously and with a strong sense of responsibility. The Emperor card always advises you to strive to harmonize with your personal power, especially if you are a man, it invites you to balance your masculine, to be at ease with your strength and your virility.
If you are a woman, balance your men’s polo shirt. If you have had dysfunctional stories that have marked you, work on your internal balance, only in this way will you be able to reach an adequate evolutionary level that will allow you to recognize a partner with whom to have a balanced history.
The emperor indicates a person who is successful in business, who knows how to manage money and make it profitable, able to manage it in perfect balance without squandering. In the outlines on money, therefore, it indicates that the person in question lives a life of abundance and knows how to manage money and his business better. It indicates a person who occupies an important position in his work, a successful person, very rational, so much so that he concentrates a lot on work, without interference. Generally, the works associated with the Emperor are precisely all those authoritarian and based on rational thought such as the policeman, the banker, the economist, the mathematician, the architect, the manager, the principal, the building contractor, the real estate agent or doctor.
In terms of love, it can indicate a man ready to seriously commit to a relationship, so for a woman consultant this card represents the certainty that her story will be balanced and fair.
If he points to the man, he can make it clear that he is looking for a story in which to seriously commit himself.
The emperor is associated with digestion and the male genital organs. It could therefore indicate problems related to the sphere of sexuality, such as erectile dysfunctions or problems related to the digestive sphere such as ulcers and gastritis.
